When dining out sometimes I have a glass, sometimes I don’t. But I have always wondered about roselle until I googled hibiscus and found that the drink comes from a species of hibiscus, a cousin of these flowers. It’s always a delight to learn something sweet, something new.

Reminds me of a huge hibiscus my mother had many years ago. The thought of those brilliant red blooms still make me smile.

Oh hibiscus tea is my favorite! I mix it with lemongrass, mint and elderberry flowers when I’m getting a cold and soon I feel better! Lovely haiku!
