Gregorian, Guns n' Roses, Sweet Child o' Mine

The kiddo turned nine two weeks ago. As I sorted stock investments for him (birthday present), I turned on something to listen to. The Masters of Chant album of the band Gregorian played and for the first time I really paid attention to the Guns n Roses power ballad.

Multi-tasking sometimes brings you a discovery of something marvelous. This remake works for me! But let me know how you find it. Either way it will be nice to know.

Metal romance? It was the summer of ’88 and I was new to pheromones, new to the feeling, new to it all. Then came the excitement, the dreams, the traditional confusion and the big dent on the heart. So glad the passing of years has made all this a memory I can look back to with a smile for the learning it gave. Last week Yahoo had this feature on the girl shown in the Sweet Child o’ Mine video – Axl Rose‘s girlfriend, later wife, and now ex-wife.
