I don’t remember the Stats, the speeches. I only remember that mix of embarrassment and glee of realizing I was singing karaoke and watching everyone hit the dance floor.
Anticipation. That’s the name of the game I am playing right now, and I’m rather enjoying it. Not knowing what will exactly happen in seventy-two hours just adds to the suspense. You see a friend I haven’t seen, nor had any contact with in twenty-six years is flying in from the Emirates to visit.
