Anticipation. That’s the name of the game I am playing right now, and I’m rather enjoying it. Not knowing what will exactly happen in seventy-two hours just adds to the suspense. You see a friend I haven’t seen, nor had any contact with in twenty-six years is flying in from the Emirates to visit. Then we go to India, hello Taj Mahal, and see if we’re going to be inspired to put Paris next on the list. It’s been eight months of catching up. I have a feeling
“Some of their lesser-known ballads are surprisingly poignant.”

Air Supply goes live in Bangkok next month. It would be fun to go see them again if I wasn’t working on the night of August 5th. I’m sharing one popular AS song and two of my favorites: She Never Heard Me Call and Don’t Be Afraid. I don’t think they often sing these songs in their concerts. I wish they did when I watched them in 2000. I can’t believe it’s been 14 years.
Women in music 60s thru the 80s – so many talents indeed. I narrowed my choices down to one from each decade, and here they are in order:

” There were a lot of great female singers of the 70’s, but as far as vocal quality, control, and crystal clarity, Agnetha Faltskog is probably the best choice.” Here she is with the hit that showcased her vocal prowess –
And “one of the world’s best-selling artists,” Gloria Estefan is also ‘the most successful crossover performer in Latin music of all time.’ On a side note I find it interesting that she has a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in French. But Words… 🙂
After all the shock, the zombie mornings, the wallowing in self-pity, boring friends to tears subjecting them to ‘dramatic discussion’ over and over like a broken record, the whole nine yards.
So was it even ever love? Indeed it must have been.
But boy was I angry though luckily a coward in the face of a .45 revolver. “And the pain will make you crazy…”Freddie Mercury was so spot on.
Since I didn’t pull the trigger…
I learned to smile again. ‘You’ refers to a future someone. Hello, optimism.
So will you raise your glasses to moving forward? My God, how life rocks! Thank goodness for a wonderful thing called reason. And another thing called Divine Providence. Never again should anyone who was hurt by love go through hell.
