Cheeky fairy’s fart
revere it or revile it
flan made in heaven
Say hello to Durian. Over here in Southeast Asia, we regard it as the “king of fruits.” It is distinctive for its “large size, (some can grow up to 30 cms. long and 15 cms. in diameter) strong odour, and formidable thorn-covered husk.”
In an article titled Learning to love durian: why the world’s stinkiest fruit is better than wine, cheese or chocolate, Celeste Brash claims ‘no other fruit creates such conflicting opinions.’
Pictured above is one-seed, office size durian. It was my snack before facing one of those busy days in the job.

Love the durian and I don’t mind the smell. I guess because I grew up eating it. 🙂
