Metal romance? It was the summer of ’88 and I was new to pheromones, new to the feeling, new to it all. Then came the excitement, the dreams, the traditional confusion and the big dent on the heart. So glad the passing of years has made all this a memory I can look back to with a smile for the learning it gave. Last week Yahoo had this feature on the girl shown in the Sweet Child o’ Mine video – Axl Rose‘s girlfriend, later wife, and now ex-wife.

I was never really a Guns N’ Roses fan, but this is one of their most popular songs which I do like. I think it’s so funny to look at these rockers with all that long hair. I mean, it’s kinda hard to tell the girls from the guys sometimes. lol Thanks for dancing with us on Monday’s Music Moves Me! It’s great having friends like you to dance with week after week!
Oh yes, the hairstyle of the 80s. I used to quarrel with my mom about wearing a spike 🙂 But the boys wearing long hair – it’s like a repeat of the times during Jesus Christ (lol)
